Viola Lessons

Hi, I'm Daniel. I've been teaching viola since 2010, and I've had the pleasure of working with around a hundred students, ranging from young children to adults. Each of my students brings something unique, and I truly enjoy getting to know and supporting them on their individual musical journeys.

The viola is very similar to the violin but with deeper and lower sound range than the violin. It's also bigger and wider, thus requiring more physical strength and stretch of the fingers to play.

While I focus on classical techniques, I am always excited to introduce my students to a wide variety of musical styles, including folk, classical, jazz, blues, and ethnic music.

With my extensive experience in music education, Iโ€™ve developed a unique approach tailored to each student. I believe in combining sight-reading with ear training, allowing students to not only learn to play what's on the page but also to develop the ability to feel and experience the music in different ways.

Whether you want to start playing the viola, deepen your knowledge, or enhance your skills, Iโ€™m here to guide you on this musical journey.
